On broken-heartedness

Anguish. A grief so deep it takes a person right out of time, out of space. And there is nothing to ease it but those very things, time and space.

This human experience carries with it moments that feel like a bridge too far. And we wonder if we will ever find our way back from the outer reaches of anguish.

And for those close to our hearts who have been struck with anguish, it can feel so incredibly helpless as we watch their hearts shatter outside time and space, while we are locked into it and marching to its cadence... an impenetrable veil between us and those lost to the swell of heartbreak.

It is in these moments that a silent gathering, a circling of loving protection, a sacred holding of time and space for our heartbroken beloved ones is needed, that they may find a soft landing when they are able to breach their veil of anguish.

Grievous loss experienced by our beloveds may feel near impossible to tend. Like there is no word or deed that can touch them even remotely. And that may be so... and I do know this: our presence and our sacred silence ushers time and space gently back into their orbits.

I am calling out to the broader clan near and far that we join together in heart and sacred silence filled with love for the heartbroken beloveds amongst us today.

I ask you share your sacred silence and heart prayers, that they might find their way back into time and space.
